Shannon Dawson
Shannon joined the firm in 2011 after serving in various roles in state government and the private sector. She has developed an expertise in issues around energy and the environment, as well as higher education, democracy and a wide array of appropriations issues. Shannon has mastered identifying unique opportunities for clients while maintaining focus on their priorities and making sure they have a seat at the table.
Prior to joining the firm, Shannon worked as a Coordinator for External Affairs at Comcast Corporation at their headquarters in Philadelphia. She started her career in Harrisburg working in the Executive offices at the Department of Agriculture and then worked for three years in the Governor’s office of Edward G. Rendell, including a stint serving as the assistant to the governor’s Chief of Staff. Shannon is a graduate of Bloomsburg University.
